Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 July 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and TaskJar ("TaskJar", "we", "us") and govern your use of the TaskJar apps, websites and request pages (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The service

TaskJar is a task management platform for property and trades teams: task creation (including AI-assisted creation from voice notes and video), team scheduling, time tracking, maps, media attachments, reports, and tenant/client request intake via QR codes and links. Features may change as the product develops.

Your content

AI-generated content

AI features generate task plans, estimates, transcripts and summaries automatically. They can be wrong. Cost figures, time estimates, materials and step-by-step instructions are starting points, not professional advice — review them before relying on them, quoting from them, or carrying out work based on them.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam through request pages or invites, upload malicious code, probe or disrupt our systems, or attempt to access other organisations' data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. Back-ups of critical business records outside TaskJar are your responsibility.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law — where such rights apply, our liability is limited to re-supplying the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (content licences already exercised, liability limits, governing law) survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We'll post updates here and flag material changes in the app; continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
